The Marie Keating Foundation will host a free six-week online survivorship workshop for men and women recovering from cancer as part of our Survive and Thrive series. The Survive and Thrive workshops will include advice from a health care professional on issues that cancer survivors often face including living with uncertainty, managing stress and fatigue and changing nutritional needs.
These women only survivorship workshops will begin on Wednesday the 27th October with a practice session from 6 pm to 7 pm and will convene each Wednesday at 6:15pm to 9pm for six weeks beginning on the 2nd November. We will round out our programme with a workshop from Look Good Feel Better on the 14th December.
October’s programme will be facilitated by Marie Keating Foundation nurse Marie Dempsey and cancer survivor, Yvonne Joye.
This special programme is open to wommen exclusively who have survived any type of cancer. The course is free to attend but places are limited and registration is essential.
