Dalata Partnership

The Marie Keating Foundation and the Dalata Hotel
Group, a partnership driving 100,000 lifesaving
conversations across Ireland.

For the next three years (2022-2025) as part of their Dalata Digs Deep initiative, the Marie Keating Foundation is delighted to have been chosen as the Dalata Hotel Group’s charity partner in the Republic of Ireland.

Together we aim to enable our caring and compassionate nurses to have 100,000 lifesaving conversations on cancer prevention and early detection over the course of the partnership.

“The support of Dalata and their staff over the next three years will allow us to fund our lifesaving community nursing and mobile information unit service, which is needed now more than ever as we start to experience the impact that the pandemic and its restrictions have had, and continues to have, on cancer services.”

Liz Yeates, CEO, Marie Keating Foundation

“Dalata Hotel Group are delighted to be partnered with the Marie Keating Foundation on Dalata’s Drive to Defeat Cancer campaign. Through our Dalata Digs Deep fundraising initiatives, our colleagues will facilitate Marie Keating Foundation nurses to have over 100,000 lifesaving conversations on spotting the early signs of cancer. We are so proud to see the positive social impact our people continue to make in our communities.”

Des McCann, COO, the Dalata Hotel Group

"It is an honour to be partnered up with Marie Keating Foundation as part of the Dalata Digs Deep campaign. So many families are touched by cancer each year and to be able get on board with a charity that is on the ground helping thousands of families in Ireland, It seems only fair to support them in whatever way we can. As Charity champion in the Maldron Hotel Wexford, I hope to bring the Fun into Fundraising, and with the team here bring as much awareness as we possibly can."
