Come and join us this September on a powerful and impactful journey knowing that with every step you take you’ll be raising funds for vital cancer prevention and support services.*
The dates are Sunday 1st to Sunday 8th of September 2024.
We’re looking for twenty people to walk between 20 to 25kms on each of our six days on the “Camino Espiritual Coastal” route from the town of Vigo to Santiago. With one in two people suffering from cancer at some stage in their lives, many of our participants will have a story to share about how cancer has impacted their lives and inspired them to undertake this journey.
The Marie Keating Foundation’s Camino is very special as we do it with Mindfulness, where people can join in each morning or evening for about 10 minutes of mindful practice. Also, while we are walking from time to time we will pause to enjoy where we are and practice mindfulness along this beautiful path, all optional of course.
With breathtaking scenery and stops at historical buildings across Portugal, our Camino adventure is an unforgettable experience. * Each participant is required to fundraise raise a minimum of €2,495. 7 nights – Bed & Breakfast and Evening Meal each day will be provided.
