The Marie Keating Foundation is delighted to be chosen as The Perfume Shop’s official charity partner for 2018.
This is the first time that The Perfume Shop has chosen an Irish charity to support and they are delighted to be working with MKF. The partnership will see colleagues offered the chance to fundraise for MKF and participate in some exciting activities throughout the year.
With lots of initiatives and in-store activities planned, Gill Smith, Managing Director of The Perfume Shop said that they are “delighted” and “excited” with the new partnership.
“We are delighted to be working with the MKF this year, and we are excited that our Irish Stores now have their own Irish Charity to raise funds for” Gill said.
“All monies raised in Ireland will go directly to the Foundation’s cancer awareness and support services charity and we are looking forward to a great programme of activity throughout the year,” she continued.
The Perfume Shop will have MKF coin boxes on every counter in all 14 of their stores around Ireland. Customers will also have the opportunity to be involved through special fundraising activities through the year with an option to make a donation to the Foundation at point of sale.
This new partnership also comes at a poignant time for the Foundation as 2018 marks Marie’s 20 year anniversary.
Speaking on the day of the launch, Linda Keating, Director of Fundraising at the Marie Keating Foundation said “We at MKF are really looking forward to working with the team at The Perfume Shop to help us raise much needed funds for our cancer information, awareness and support services. Our Mam loved her perfume and with today February 2nd being her 20 year anniversary, what a great day to launch this exciting new partnership”.
The kindness and generous support from all at The Perfume Shop will help MKF continue to deliver their much needed cancer awareness and support services to the Irish public.
