The Marie Keating Foundation’s Survive and Thrive programmes  have been created to help men and women who have finished cancer treatment to adapt to their ‘new normal.’ The programmes include information and support from facilitators who are healthcare professionals and survivors themselves, we discuss issues such as coping with emotions; fatigue and other symptoms; changing nutritional needs; coping with feelings and change; managing stress and physical activity.

Courses are for men or women only or they can be mixed.

This is an eight week programme, one evening a week from 6.15p.m. – 9p.m., you would need to be able to commit to attending all eight sessions as much as possible.

These  survivorship workshops will begin on Tuesday the 25th October with a practice session from 6 pm to 7 pm and will convene each Tuesday from 1st November at 6:15pm to 9pm  for six weeks beginning, we will finish the programme with a Look Good Feel Better Workshop on 13th December.

November’s programme will be facilitated by Marie Keating Foundation Director of Nursing, Marie Dempsey and cancer survivor, Yvonne Joye.

The course is free to attend but places are limited and registration is essential.

If you would like to register your interest to attend these weekly workshops, please register below. A Marie Keating Foundation nurse will be in touch with you to assess if your needs will be met during this course.
