“BRCA in the eye of the beholder”
‘This year we are focusing on Communication & Research into BRCA. Communicating with your Health Care Professional, your family and children. Research will focus on what can we expect for our children in the future in relation to BRCA’
Communicating with your Health Care Professional and with your family with an emphasis on talking to your children.
We will have a host of patient ambassadors and experts speaking on the day.
Guest speakers include:
- Dr. Marleah Dean Kruzel, who will focus on communicating with very young and teenage children about BRCA.
- Dr. Terri McVeigh, Consultant Clinical Geneticist at The Royal Marsden, present on other cancer types associated with a BRCA alteration other than Breast and Ovarian Cancer.
- A HSE representative to discuss ‘where we are at with BRCA in Ireland, how far have we come”.

Plus it will be an honour for us to introduce our wonderful BRCA Peer Support Volunteers who are dedicated to supporting people with a BRCA alteration in Ireland.
