Job Title: Mobile Information Unit Driver (Part-Time)
Location: Southern Region (Cork City based) primarily covering counties Cork, Kerry. Limerick, Waterford and South Tipperary Hours: Minimum 4 days to a maximum of 8 days per month. Monday to Friday, 9am to 5pm.  – 

About the Role:
The Marie Keating Foundation is seeking a reliable Driver to operate our Mobile Information Unit . You will ensure the vehicle is safely managed, well-maintained, and ready to serve the community.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Driving & Vehicle Care:Safely drive the Mobile Unit and keep it clean inside and out
  • Maintenance & Compliance:Manage fuel, oil, and water levels (fuel card provided), and ensure current tax and insurance discs are displayed. Ensure the Vehicle is serviced and report any faults, required repairs or accidents to the designated person.
  • Support & Privacy:Ensure visitors to the Unit get to speak privately with the Nurse.  Remain close to the vehicle for security but not to interfere or interrupt the Nurse’s work where that is appropriate.
  • Route Planning:Plan travel routes in advance for timely arrivals. Liaise with the office with regard to planning future locations.

Setup & Logistics: Meet and collect the  Nurse as required. Safely park and secure, the Unit at each location. Assist if requested to set up any displays.

Requirements:

  • Full, clean driving licence
  • Excellent communication, teamwork, and organisational skills.
  • Neat dress is essential and the uniform provided must be worn at all times.
