We are deeply saddened to hear of the passing of Bronwyn Carpenter. Bronwyn was one of the co-founders of the Irish Lung Cancer Community and supported the Marie Keating Foundation as a lung cancer ambassador in 2022. Since that time she collaborated with our Communications team throughout the years, supporting our campaigns, and raising awareness about important issues such as Stigma around lung cancer through shared social media activity. Those of our team who connected with and got to know Bronwyn are heartbroken to hear of her passing and spoke to her gentle, warm and compassionate nature while highlighting what a powerful advocate she was for lung cancer and how dedicated she was to supporting others.

Our thoughts are with Bronwyns family, friends and all at the Irish Lung Cancer Community.

May her gentle soul rest in peace.
