One year ago, today the entire team and Board of the Marie Keating Foundation were devastated to hear of the passing of Ciaran Keating in a tragic accident.

Our thoughts and prayers are and always will be with his wife Annemarie, his children Ruairi, Conall and Ashling Marie, his father Gerry, his sister our friend, founder and former Director of Fundraising Linda and his brothers Gerard, Gary and Ronan and all his extended family and friends.

Together with his family, Ciaran established the Foundation following the death of their mother Marie to breast cancer 26 years ago. Ciaran was such a great supporter of our work often acting as relief driver of our Mobile Information Unit in his beloved West of Ireland and attending many of our events lending his support throughout the years.

This photo was taken at last year’s very special 25th Anniversary Golf Classic. This year’s event will not feel the same without him. He will be sorely missed.

May his gentle soul Rest in Peace.
