It is with deep sadness that the Marie Keating Foundation are sharing news of the passing of our incredible patient ambassador Michael (Mick) Murphy.
Mick took part in our powerful April Bowel Cancer Awareness campaign #NoRegrets where he shared his story with such honesty and openness with a goal of doing all he could to prevent others having to face a stage four cancer diagnosis. This is a testament to the kindness and compassion Mick had for others. Mick made a profound impact on everyone who had the privilege of getting to know him throughout this campaign, he was a true gent whose warmth shone through. We will continue to share his story and video to support countless others in the future with thanks to his wife Denise.
Our thoughts are with his wife and biggest supporter Denise (Neicy), his children Caoimhe, Dermot and Cormac who he spoke about with such pride and all his extended family and friends.
Rest in peace Mick.
