Survive and Thrive Fashion Show 2011

Now in its seventh year, the Survive and Thrive fashion show continues to go from strength to strength and while it is not a fundraising event, it is without a doubt one of the most rewarding events the Foundation each year. Almost 3,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year and as early detection remains to be key, the message from the Marie Keating Foundation this October is Look after your girls; talk to your friends about breast cancer.

Broadcaster Claire Byrne kindly did the honors again this year in the role of MC for the evening. A total of 16 Supermodel survivors (mostly nominated by their breast care nurse) and ten models from Assets model agency sashayed down the runway in the Conrad Hotel modeling gorgeous clothes from Marks & Spencer and Arnotts.

Leading stylist and longtime supporter of the event, Clara Halpin was on hand once again to make sure that the ladies were looking their best on the big night! Peter Mark creative director Gary Kavanagh and a team of make-up artists from Arnotts made sure the ladies’ got the full VIP treatment!
